ဝါးဖတ် – ဝါးဖတ်ရွက်သည် အနည်းနှင့်အများ ဗျက်ကျယ်၍ တြိဂံပုံရှိကာ အရွယ်မှာ အရှည် ၁၅-၄၅ စင်တီမီတာ x ဗျက် ၂၀ စင်တီမီတာ ရှိကြသည်။ ကြွေလွယ်သည်။ အရောင်မှာ အစိမ်းဖျော့ (သို့) အစိမ်းရောင်ရှိပြီး၊ အနက်ရောင်အမွေးကြမ်းများရှိကာ၊ ရွက်နား တွင်အမွေးနုများရှိသည်။ ဝါးဖတ်ရွက်အပေါ်ပိုင်းသည် ဝိုင်း၍ ဝါးဖတ်ထိပ်ရွက်နှင့် ချိတ်ဆက်နေသည်။ ဝါးဖတ်ထိပ်ရွက်သည် တြိဂံပုံရှိကာ ၄-၅ စင်တီမီတာ x ၅-၆ စင်တီမီတာ အရွယ် ရှိသည်။ ကျဉ်းမြောင်းသည့် ဝါးဖတ်လျှာ ထိဆက်လျှက်ရှိသည်။

Habitat – Typically, this type of bamboo lives in tropical environments. In Southeast Asia, this type of bamboo is widely cultivated. It is often found in villages, on the banks of rivers, and as decoration plants in cities.
Culm Habit – Sympodium bamboo (Open clumping type), bamboo that grows up to 15 m tall, Culms (8-10 cm wide) are bright yellow with dark green, vertical stripes that are usually narrow, but vary in width.
Internode – Bright yellow with dark green, vertical stripes that are usually narrow, but vary in width.
Node – Nodes are prominent and thick.
Culm Sheath – Culm sheath more or less broadly triangular, 15-45 cm x 20 cm, upper ones longest, deciduous, light green or stramineous, covered with appressed black hairs, margins hairy, apex slightly rounded at the junction with the blade; blade erect, broadly triangular, 4-5 cm x 5-6 cm, slightly narrowed at the junction with the ligule.
Foliage leaves – Linear leaves are up to 20 cm long and 3 cm wide, arrangement in a fan-shaped pattern at the branch tips. They are sharply pointed with rounded base and entire leaf margin.
Branching – Branching started from the basal nodes.
Usage – Ornamental solitary or as border hedge. Its shoots boiled in water are sometimes used for medicinal qualities.
