ပြန်နှံ့ပေါက်ရောက်ပုံ – ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ(အလယ်ပိုင်း)၊ လာအိုနှင့် ဗီယက်နမ်နိုင်ငံတို့တွင် မူရင်းဒေသမျိုးအဖြစ် ပေါက်ရောက်ရှင်သန်သည်။
အပင်သရုပ် – ရွက်ကြွေချုံပင်မျိုးဖြစ်၍ အမြင့် ၁.၅၀ မီတာရှိသည်။ ကြီးထွားနှုန်း နှေးကွေးပြီး မြေပြင်အထက် ၁.၅ မီတာခန့်သာအမြင့်ရှိပြီး ပင်စည် အောက်ခြေမှာ ဖောင်းကားလျက်ရှိတတ်သည်။
အခေါက် – ပင်စည်မျက်နှာပြင်သည် အောက်ခြေမှ အရွက်ရင်းများထပ်လျက် တည်ရှိသောကြောင့် ကြမ်းတမ်းသောပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ရှိသည်။
အရွက် – အရွက်ရင့်များသည် တောက်ပသော အစိမ်းရင့်ရောင်များဖြစ်ကာ အုန်းလက်များကဲ့သို့ ထိပ်တွင် စုပြုံတည်ရှိပြီး သရဖူပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ရှိ၍ တဖြေးဖြေးအောက်ဘက်သို့ ကွေးညွတ်သွားကြသည်။
ပန်းပွင့် – ပန်းမပွင့်သော အစေ့ဖော်ပင်မျိုးဖြစ်သည့်အတွက် မျိုးပွားရန် Male cone နှင့် Female cone ဟူ၍ရှိကြသည်။
အသီးနှင့်အစေ့– Male cone များသည် လိမ္မော်ရောင်မှ အညိုရောင်သို့ ပြောင်းလဲကာ အမွှေးများပါရှိပြီး Female cone များသည် ပြားချပ်ချပ်ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ဖြစ် သည်။ အစေ့သည် လုံးဝန်းပြီး အဝါရောင်အစေ့ခွံဖြင့် ဖုံးအုပ်ထားသည်။
ပွင့်သီးချိန် – တစ်နှစ်ပတ်လုံးဖြစ်သည်။
အသုံးဝင်မှု – မုန်တိုင်ပင်၏အသားသည် ပန်းရောင်ဖြစ်၍ အတော်အသင့်မာသော သစ်သားဖြစ်သဖြင့် အိမ်အသုံးအဆောင်ပစ္စည်းများ၊ စားသောက်ဖွယ်ရာ များထည့်သော သေတ္တာများနှင့် မီးခြစ်အိမ်များ ပြုလုပ်ရာတွင် အသုံးပြု ကြသည်။ မုန်တိုင်ပင်မှ ရသောအစေးကို ပြည်တည်နာများအတွက် အသုံးပြုကြသည်။ တစ်ခါတစ်ရံ အလှစိုက်ပင်အဖြစ် စိုက်ပျိုးကြသည်။

Family Name – Cycadaceae
Habitat – Central Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam are the native areas.
Habit – Deciduous shrubs, height about 1.5 meters. Growth rate is slow. It is a small cycad with underground or above ground trunk, up to 1.5 meter tall, with a swollen base.
Bark – The stem or caudex is mostly unbranched, thick and woody. The surface of the stem is rough due to the persistent leaf bases.
Leaves – Mature leaves are bright green, feather-like, erect (0.6 – 1.2 m long) and arching, with leaf tips often recurved.
Flower – Cycad is belonging to the gymnosperm. They have not flowered but they have male cone and female cone for reproduction.
Fruit And Seed — Male cone was orange to brown hairs and Female cone has flattened globose, Seed is almost round with yellow seed coat.
Flowering and Fruiting Time – Throughout the year.
Usage – The wood is pink color and very hard, so it is used to make food boxes and matchboxes. The resin from the plant is used for abscess. It is sometimes grown as an ornamental.
