ပြန်နှံ့ပေါက်ရောက်ပုံ – အရှေ့တောင်အာရှနိုင်ငံများဖြစ်သည့် သီရိလင်္ကာ၊ ထိုင်း၊ ကမ္ဘော ဒီးယား မြန်မာ၊ ဗီယက်နမ်၊ အင်ဒိုနီးရှားနိုင်ငံတို့တွင် ပေါက်ရောက်ကြပြီး အပူပိုင်းဒေသ၊ စိုစွတ် (သို့) ရွက်ကြွေတော အမျိုးအစားများ (၂) မျိုး တွင်တွေ့နိုင်ပါသည်။
အပင်သရုပ် – အမြဲစိမ်း အပင်လတ်အမျိုးအစားဖြစ်၍ အမြင့်ပေ ၅- ၁၀ မီတာထိ ရှိ သည်။ နုနယ်စဉ်တွင် အကိုင်းအခက်များမှာ လေးထောင့်ပုံရှိ၍ အမွှေး လေးများဖြင့် ဖုံးအုပ်ထားသည်။
အခေါက် – အခေါက်တွင် သိသာထင်ရှားသော အက်ကွဲကြောင်းများပါရှိ၍ မီးခိုး ရောင်မှ အဝါရောင်သန်းသော အညိုရောင်ရှိသည်။
အရွက် – အရွက်သည် ရွက်ထီး၊ ထောင့်မှန်ရွက်ဆိုင်ထွက်အမျိုးအစား ဖြစ် သည်။ အရွက်မှာ ဘဲဥပုံ၊ ရွက်နားအားလုံးညီကြ၍ ရွက်သားမာ ကြောသည်။ အရွက်၏ အပေါ်ယံမျက်နှာပြင်တွင် အစိမ်းရင့် ရောင်ရှိ၍ အောက်ဘက် မျက်နှာပြင်တွင် အစိမ်းဖျော့ရောင်ရှိသည်။ ရွက်လယ်ကြောများ ထင်ရှား ကြသည်။
ပန်းခိုင် – ပန်းခိုင်သည် ဦးခေါင်းငယ်ပန်းခိုင်အမျိးအစားဖြစ်၍ ကြားထွက် (သို့) ထိပ်ထွက် ပန်းခိုင်အမျိုးအစားဖြစ်သည်။
ပန်းပွင့် – အပွင့်မှာ ရှည်မျောမျောခေါင်းလောင်းပုံရှိ၍ အဖြူရောင်ရှိသည်။ ပွင့်ညှာ မပါရှိပါ။
အသီးနှင့်အစေ့– အသီးသည် စေ့များခွံပျော့ အမျိုးအစားဖြစ်၍ လုံးဝန်းသော ပုံသဏ္ဍာန် ရှိသည်။ အသီးသည် အစိမ်းရောင်ရှိ၍ ရင့်မှည့်သည့်အခါ နို့နှစ်ရောင်သို့ ပြောင်းသွားသည်။
အစေ့သည် အနက်ရောင်ရှိ၍ ဘဲဥပုံရှိသည်။
ပွင့်သီးချိန် – မေလတွင် အပွင့်များစတင်၍ ဇွန်လတွင် အသီးများစတင်ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာ ကြသည်။
အသုံးဝင်မှု – အခေါက်နှင့် အမြစ်ကို ဆိုးဆေးနှင့် တိုင်းရင်းဆေးထုတ်လုပ်ရာတွင် အသုံးပြုကြသည်။

Habitat – Native to Southeast Asia; Seri Lanka, Thai, Cambodia, Lao, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia found in moist and dry deciduous forests.
Habit – A medium small evergreen tree to large that can reach heights of up to 5 – 10 meters and quadrangular stems when young which is covered with hairs.
Bark – Shallow fissured in bark , gray to yellowish brown in color.
Leaves – Simple, opposite and decussate, obovate in shape, entire along the margin, coriaceous, dark green color in upper surface and light green in lower surface and have a distinct midrib in each.
Inflorescence – Axillary or terminal spherical head cymes.
Flower – Funnel shaped flower, white, sessile.
Fruit – Berries, globose in shape, green to milky when ripen.
Seed – Black color, oval in shpe.
Flowering and Fruiting Time – Flowering time from May and Fruiting time from June.
Usage – Bark and roots are used for dyes and medicinal uses.
