အပင်သရုပ် – ထူထပ်၍ ကျယ်ပြန့်သော ရွက်အုပ်ရှိသည့် အမြဲစိမ်းသစ်ပင်ဖြစ်ပြီး အမြင့် ၄-၂၀ မီတာအထိကြီးထွားနိုင်သည်။ ပင်စည်သည် တိုပြီး သန်မာသည်။
အခေါက် – အခေါက်သည် မီးခိုးရောင်ဖြစ်ပြီး အကိုင်းအခက်များသည် နီညို ရောင်ရှိသည်။
အရွက် – အမြဲစိမ်းအရွက်များဖြစ်ပြီး ငှက်မွေးရွက်ပေါင်းအမျိုးအစားဖြစ်ကာ အရွယ်အစား ၁၂.၅ မှ ၂၀ စင်တီမီတာ ရှည်လျားပြီး၊ ရွက်မွှာများ ၄ မှ ၈ အထိ တလှည့်စီရှိကာ ဘဲဥပုံ-ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်မှ ချွန်ထက်သော အရွက် များဖြစ်သည်။
ပန်းခိုင် – ထိပ်ထွက် အဆုံးရှိပန်းခိုင်ဖြစ်ပြီး အရွယ် ၁၀-၄၀ စင်တီမီတာရှိသည်။
ပန်းပွင့် – ပန်းပွင့်များသည် သေးငယ်၍ အဖြူရောင်၊ အဝါရောင် သို့မဟုတ် အစိမ်းရင့်ရောင် ပန်းပွင့်များဖြစ်ပြီး ထူးခြားသော မွှေးရနံ့ရှိသည်။
အသီး – အသီးများသည် အဝိုင်းမှ ဘဲဥပုံမှ နှလုံးပုံအထိ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ကွဲပြား စွာရှိတတ်သည်။ အလျား ၅ စင်တီမီတာနှင့် အကျယ် ၄ စင်တီမီ တာအထိရှိသည်။
အစေ့ – အစေ့များသည် ၁-၃.၃ စင်တီမီတာ ရှည်ပြီး အကျယ် ၀.၆-၁.၂ စင်တီ မီတာရှိသည်။ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်မှာ ဘဲဥရှည်သွယ်ပုံရှိကာ အညိုရောင်မှ ချောကလက် အရောင်ရှိသည်။
ပွင့်သီးချိန် – ပွင့်သီးချိန်သည် သြဂုတ်လမှ ဇန်နဝါရီလအထိဖြစ်သည်
အသုံးဝင်မှု – ချောင်းဆိုးခြင်း၊ လေပွခြင်း၊ အစာအိမ်အနာ၊ ဆီးချိုရောဂါ၊ အဝ လွန်ခြင်း၊ ဝှေးစေ့ရောင်ရမ်းခြင်း၊ အူကျွံခြင်းကဲ့သို့သော အခြေ အနေ များနှင့် epigastric နှင့် neuralgic pains များကို ကုသရန်အတွက် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုများစွာတွင် တွင်ကျယ်စွာအသုံးပြုပါသည်။

Habitat – The most common is the Indochinese lychee found in South China, Malaysia and northern Vietnam. It is also cultivated in tropical region.
Habit – An evergreen tree with a dense, wide crown; it can grow 4 – 20 m tall. The bole is short and stocky.
Bark – The bark is grey-black, the branches a brownish-red.
Leaves – Leaves are pinnately compound and evergreen, 12.5 to 20 cm long, having 4 to 8 alternate, elliptic-oblong to lanceolate, abruptly pointed, leaflets,
Inflorescence – The terminal panicles grow in clusters of ten or more, reaching 10 to 40 cm.
Flower – Small white, yellow, or green flowers that are distinctively fragrant.
Fruit – Fruits vary in shape from round to ovoid to heart-shaped, up to 5 cm long and 4 cm wide.
Seed – Seeds are 1–3.3 cm long and 0.6–1.2 cm wide, oblong to concave in shape, and dark brown to chocolaty in color.
Flowering and Fruiting Time – Flowering and fruiting time is August to January.
Usage – Widely used in many cultures for the treatment of cough, flatulence, stomach ulcers, diabetes, obesity, testicular swelling, hernia-like conditions, and epigastric and neuralgic pains.
